Haile Gold Mine invited the local community to an informative Open House session at the Depot on May 11 during Spring-a-thon activities.
Representatives from across the operation set up booths inside the Depot, where the community could ask questions and view the displays. Prizes and giveaways were also available throughout the event. It is estimated that more than 300 people attended the Open House.
The event was the first of what Haile officials expect to become an annual Spring event.
