The Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Haile Gold Mine Asset Protection Officer Justin Hegler with a Top 10 Under 40 Award for being a successful young professional in the county.

The announcement was officially made at the Chamber’s Annual Winter Soiree on February 1. Hegler was recognized for working alongside his fellow officers to protect Haile’s assets and helping with Active Shooter seminars. He also completed a two-week SLED training course to serve his role better.

Justin was also praised in 2022 for assisting a driver outside of Haile’s entrance with a tire change on a Sunday afternoon when the individual otherwise would have faced some challenges getting help.

Haile Gold Mine has had three recipients of the award in consecutive years. Britt Wells and Joe Garris were recognized in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
