Haile Gold Mine organized its annual gift collection in December to support Mount Calvary Outreach Center (MCOC). Employees purchased more than 60 gifts for children ranging in age from 4 to 16.
The organization held a Christmas party on Dec. 19 for children to collect their gifts, enjoy Christmas music and special performances, and a visit from Santa Claus. MCOC is a non-profit organization, which has provided yearlong activities and a summer program to at-risk youth in Kershaw for more than 30 years.
