Haile Gold Mine held a ribbon-cutting on January 14 to commemorate the official completion of expansion work on the bridge over Highway 601. The five-month long project included seven feet of width expansion, installation of a new beam to provide extra support, and the strengthening of existing beams. The sides of the bridge were concreted on both sides and the fence height was raised to support the extra height of the 730e trucks. Bridge expansion supports the latest Tailings Storage Facility dam lift.
